Camp consist of 6 hunters.
The camp is equipped with heated tents and propane heated showers.

Our tent camp offers 12 X 14 foot wall tents and will have all the comforts of outdoor living. The cook tent is usually the hub of activity and a place to socialize.

When you arrive at the Edmonton International Airport, exit through entrance 5 or 6 the shuttle service from Cedar Park Inn will await you. Please plan to arrive on Saturday the day before. The Sunday morning after you arrive in Edmonton, you will be picked up at your hotel at approx. 7:00 a.m. Please have your gear ready in the lobby. Bucks 'N Bears camp is located approx. 5 hours north of Edmonton. After arriving at camp (about 12:00-1:00) we will have a brief orientation, introductions and dinner. The late afternoon will find you in your stand for the evening hunt.

It is important to remember daylight hours in northern Alberta are approximately 18 hours. Guides and camp help are busy part of the day doing regular work, and therefore part of your day will be spent relaxing, reading or assisting the guides.

Meal times are approximately: Breakfast 9:00 am, Dinner 3:00 pm and Lunch 11:00 pm

Weather will vary at this time of year. You will require medium to warm clothes. Warm boots, rubber bottoms, rain gear and a warm jacket are a must. If possible, bring both mosquito repellent and a pull over mosquito jacket. (Do not forget gloves for hands). Nylon clothing is TOO NOISY TO WEAR IN THE STANDS.

If possible, please minimize luggage to 3 pieces: weapon case, sleeping roll and duffel bag (gear & clothing). Space in vehicle to and from camp is limited.

Note: If you are planning to drink socially, bring the drink of your choice. Most are available in plastic containers for safe travel. Cigarette and liquor prices are approx. 5 times greater in Canada than in the us. Our tent camp offers 12 x 14' wall tents and will have all the comforts of outdoor living. Tents are equipped with a wood stove and full sized cots. The cook tent is usually the hub of activity and a place to enjoy & socialize.

Hunting is done in the afternoons and evenings, both from ground blinds and tree stands, over bait. Bait used is predominately fresh meat scraps, but we also use honey, oats & cookies.

The following Saturday, after breakfast, we will say our good-byes and transport you back to your hotel in Edmonton. PLEASE ARRANGE WITH THE HOTEL TO SHUTTLE YOU TO THE AIRPORT 2 HOURS BEFORE DEPARTURE. We are looking forward to meeting you and hunting with you in Alberta's northern wilderness.

Note: Your weapon must have the bolt out and be locked during air and ground travel. Also, Canadian Customs requires proof of citizenship-bring I.D.-Birth Cert., Drivers license and passport for ease in entering Canada.

Hand guns are illegal in Canada, please leave yours at home.
