Update August 10, 2000
Summer in Alberta is slowly showing signs of a quiet retreat. The days are getting shorter and the evenings are cool, this means that frost is not far behind. Living in Alberta allows us the opportunity to experience the four seasons and all the changes they bring with them. Autumn is by far my favorite time of the year.
Next on the agenda is the Northern Moose hunt, which take place the last week of September until the
middle of October. This is the time when the Bulls are rutting and we are able to call them out of the swamps and muskegs where they normally live. The Bull Moose "Coming to the Call" is without a doubt the most exciting experience you will have as a big game hunter in North America. The best time to call, is on a Frosty morning when the air is calm and the Moose have been busy rutting all night. I hope this gives you a little insight into our Northern Moose hunt and I hope you get to experience Autumn in Alberta
Alberta is a wonderful province to visit, with some of North Americas most beautiful wilderness areas.
